Name: James
James, the frontman of mr parker has always had a keen interest in music and being on stage. Early attempts at trying a few different instruments lead him to his favoured guitar. His first attempt at being a frontman, was for a band called 'these stone walls' when he was 16. This only lasted a year or so, but gave him a taste of Yorks live music venues and entrance into pubs underage!! Since that he tried a few different bands, usually with his trusty drummer mr jones.
When The Awesome Faces emerged things started to look positive, and they managed to get quite a few gigs, and had a rock and roll time with then lead singer Paul Mose, unfortunatley changes happened, and finally mr parker was formed, now after 3 years together and all the band helping with the songwriting, times are looking very good, and the music is always getting better!
Recently james has been away for the summer in Italy, where he started to play a quite few solo gigs, doing cover songs
as well as a few of his own. This experience has only added to his confidence and his desire to help finish mr parkers new album! |

Name: Matt
Born in Grimsby and raised in York. First
sat behind a piano at the age of 8 and achieved grade 1 before
giving up to play the flute. A few years later the flute went

having drum lessons at secondary school and played until present
on and off.
Moved to Australia in '95 with his family and
taught himself the guitar with a little help from his dad.
Carried on with friends who all played in a jazz funk style
but continuous jamming never really turned in an organized
band.
Moved bank to England in 2000 to link up with James
and Steve not knowing that he had to now try and learn to
sing! (Still trying) A Leeds collage of music graduate in

Name: John
Born 1981, raised in notts John has been a
dedicated follower of the Red Army all his life. About 5 years
ago he moved to Leeds to work in a sweetshop commonly know
as a family restaurant.
There he met dedicated chef and ok
guitar player Matt. Having played acoustic for a couple of
years john started to jam with Matt. Then asked to join with
James and Steve as the reformed band needed a bass player.
Although John had worries over the mental stability of the
other three and of course outshining them all he joined the
band and it all started from there. MUFC FOREVER |
